Renovation of the Mülheim Bridge

On 2 April, the city of Cologne will start the next phase of the general repair of the Mülheim Bridge. Part of this phase is the renewal of the tram lines.

In order to carry out this work, tram lines 13 and 18 will have to be separated between the Slabystraße and Mülheim Wiener Platz stops. Due to preparatory work, the separation will begin at 22:00 on 1 April (Easter Monday).

Alternatively, a replacement bus line 118 and the additional tram lines 14 and 19 can be used.

Changes to the route map

The separation will result in the following changes to the route map:

  • Changes to line 13

  • Changes to line 18

  • Changes to line 3

  • Changes to line 4 (only timetables)

The following lines are additionally available:
  • Additional line 14
